The LEGOLAND ® Windsor Resort Hotel is located beside the famous theme park, where imagination, creativity and family fun are at the heart of the visitor experience. Designed to extend the excitement of the park into the hotel environment, the development features LEGO® themed rooms and highly immersive interiors throughout.
As part of this unique hospitality project, TBS Amwell was selected to deliver bespoke hospitality washrooms that matched the playful design vision of the hotel. Working alongside The Allison Pike Partnership and appointed contractors Speymill, we supplied premium washroom solutions that combined creativity, durability and practical long-term performance.
The design team required hospitality washrooms that would continue the excitement and branding of the hotel interior while remaining highly durable for constant family use.
With children and families using the facilities throughout the day, the hospitality washrooms needed to be robust, child-friendly and easy to maintain. At the same time, they had to deliver a high-quality finish suitable for a premium leisure and hospitality environment.
A key requirement of the project was the ability to incorporate bespoke LEGO® laminate graphics into the cubicle design, making flexibility of manufacture and design capability essential.
To meet the brief, our Minima toilet cubicle system was selected.
Minima is a sleek and contemporary solution featuring slimline stainless steel pilasters and a refined headrail design. This clean modern framework allowed the bespoke LEGO® graphics to become the focal point of the washroom design while maintaining a premium appearance.
For this project, the cubicles were manufactured in High Pressure Laminate (HPL), enabling the use of customised laminate print finishes. HPL also provides excellent durability, making it ideal for busy commercial bathrooms in family leisure environments.
The standout feature of the installation was the use of the custom LEGO® themed laminate prints across the cubicle doors and panels.
These bespoke visuals transformed the washrooms into an extension of the wider hotel experience, ensuring that even practical spaces contributed to the immersive family atmosphere.
Hotel Designer Niger Woods from Merlin Entertainments Group commented that the materials used, enabled the door graphics to be highly durable and child friendly.
Minima uses a seamless fixing system with continuous concealed T-sections secured by polished snake-eye fixings, delivering a clean and design-led finish.
This helped create polished, premium commercial toilet cubicles suitable for a flagship hospitality venue while maintaining excellent durability and ease of maintenance.
The completed installation delivered vibrant and memorable hospitality washrooms that perfectly complemented the themed identity of the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort Hotel.
Guests now experience imaginative and family-friendly washroom spaces that feel fully integrated into the hotel environment. The bespoke graphics create excitement for younger visitors, while the durable HPL construction ensures the facilities can handle heavy daily footfall.
The slimline Minima system provided the ideal balance of playful creativity and premium finish, helping the washrooms feel polished, practical and unique.
Dan Aresti of Speymill praised TBS Amwell’s product quality, strong design and competitive pricing.

Reflecting on the final result, Gareth Reed also noted that the cubicles:
“Add to the whole experience of the hotel.”
