Shebbear College Washroom Refurbishment

As part of a wider improvement programme, TBS Amwell worked closely with Shebbear College during its renovation project, supplying high-quality education washroom refurbishment solutions for the new Sixth Form Centre and additional areas across the school. The aim was to create durable, modern and high-performing school washrooms that met the expectations of both staff and students.

Client’s Brief – Modern, Durable School Washrooms

Shebbear College required new school toilets and washroom facilities that combined long-term durability with a premium appearance. The school needed products capable of handling daily use in a busy educational setting, while also complementing the quality and character of the wilder campus.

For the new Sixth Form Centre in particular, the brief called for more mature and contemporary school washrooms, creating an environment suited to older students while maintaining robust performance standards. All products also needed to meet Department for Education compliant expectations for educational washroom environments.

To meet the project requirements, Shebbear College selected our Splash cubicle system alongside our premium Solid Surface vanity units.

Our Splash range is particularly well suited to educational environments due to its durability, water resistance and vandal resistance. Manufactured from robust Solid Grade Laminate, the system features through-fixed polished aluminium hardware for enhanced strength and long-term reliability. A sleek aluminium headrail completes the design, delivering a clean and contemporary finish ideal for modern school washrooms.

This made Splash the ideal solution for the new Sixth Form Centre, where the school wanted an upgraded washroom environment that felt more refined and adult-focused for older students, while still performing under regular use.

The Splash cubicles are available in a wide choice of finishes, and Shebbear College selected our Diamond and Charcoal colours to align with existing school branding and maintain consistency throughout the school.

To complement the cubicles, the school also chose our Solid Surface vanity units in Hailstone. These vanities provided a seamless, stylish finish while offering the durability and easy maintenance expected in busy school toilets.
