What is a Superloo, and how is it used?

A Superloo is a fully enclosed cubicle that includes all necessary washroom amenities like a WC, basin, and hand dryer. It’s designed for any gender and prioritises privacy and hygiene, suitable for commercial and public spaces.

Do you offer waterproof washroom cubicles?

Yes, TBS Amwell provides fully waterproof cubicles manufactured in Solid Grade Laminate (SGL), making them suitable for wet areas such as leisure centres and gyms, or any other high-traffic environments.

What are the benefits of using Solid Surface vanities in washrooms?

Solid Surface vanities are seamless, durable, and resistant to water, stains, and impact. They provide a sleek and modern look while offering long-lasting performance, ideal for high-traffic washrooms.

Can I purchase spare parts for my washroom cubicles?

Yes, TBS Amwell offers an online shop where you can order spare parts like indicator bolts, hinges, pedestals, and more, with next working day delivery on orders placed before 2pm Monday to Thursday and 12pm on a Friday. Browse the shop here. 

Do your products comply with government standards?

Yes, TBS Amwell designs products that meet relevant UK government standards, such as the Department for Education (DfE) guidelines and Approved Document T for fully enclosed washrooms.

What does MFC stand for?

MFC stands for Melamine Faced Chipboard. Usually 18mm Melamine Faced Chipboard, with 1mm matching or contrasting PVC lipping. MFC is ideal for dry environments with light to medium use.

What does HPL stand for?

HPL stands for High-Pressure Laminate. Typically 18mm standard thickness moisture resistant chipboard, faced both sides with HPL. HPL is suitable for dry environments with medium to heavy use.

What does SGL stand for?

SGL stands for Solid Grade Laminate. Generally 13mm standard thickness with a solid core and polished black radiused edges. SGL is both water and impact resistant and ideal for high traffic, wet environments.

Can I have your price list?

One-size-fits-all has never been the TBS Amwell way. It’s why all our quotations are based on the unique requirements of the client. Can you provide a supply and fit price?

Absolutely! We work with our in-house installation team, TBS Fabrications, as well as a trusted network of preferred installers across the UK, all of whom are experts with our products. Simply contact a member of our team, and they’ll gladly provide you with competitive installation quotes, saving you both time and money.

What colour options do you have?

Our colour range features 34 laminate options, 3 glass finishes, 11 real wood veneers, 7 granite choices, 9 quartz finishes, 12 standard solid surfaces, and 10 premium solid surface finishes. For a closer look, order a sample and discover the difference first hand.

What are the LRV values?

LRV, or Light Reflectance Value, is a numerical value assigned to each colour. A visual contrast, when referring to the ability to distinguish one element or fitting within a building from another, is achieved when the difference in light reflectance value between the two surfaces exceeds 30 points. What colours is the 48 HR Washrooms available in?

Our 48 HR Washrooms are available in 6 colour options: Green, Blue, Sand, Light Grey, Dark Grey and Summer Oak.

How do I get a price for a spare part?

Simply visit our online shop or email your request through to our Customer Services team at [email protected]. To help us with your query, please provide the name of the project and a photo of the part you require if possible.

I have a project abroad, who do I need to speak to?

We have a dedicated Export team who deal with all projects outside of the UK. You can reach them on 01763 276 200 or by emailing [email protected].

I have a project in Scotland, who do I need to speak to?

Is TBS Amwell FSC® certified?

We all value the environment, which is why we’re proud to say we’re Forest Stewardship Council ® Certified. That means our wood comes from sustainable forests, supporting the communities who depend on them. We also only ever source wood-based panel products from suppliers who are independently certified from either the FSC® or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification). Can you advise how to fit sanitary ware?

While we cannot advise you directly, we work with a network of preferred installers all around the UK. Get in touch and we’ll be happy to point you in the best direction.
