Q) How is Aquabench installed?
A) Aquabench can be installed using floor-fixed brackets or wall-hung cantilever brackets, depending on your chosen bench type.

A) Yes. Exposed edges and corners on Aquabench seating are radiused (rounded) for user safety and comfort.
Q) How easy is Aquabench to maintain and clean?

Q) Will Aquabench withstand long-term use in wet rooms?
A) Yes. With SGL and corrosion-resistant frames, Aquabench seating performs well in areas exposed to moisture and high usage, making it ideal for commercial and leisure environments.
Q) Can the Aquabench seat be adjusted for uneven floors?
A) Yes — floor-fixed brackets can be adjusted to suit uneven or sloping floors, helping ensure a stable and level seating surface in older or irregular spaces.
Sport England Regulations & Compliance
Q) How is Sport England applicable to Changing Room facilities?
A) Sport England compliance emphasises the need for changing facilities to be designed to be accessible and inclusive. This includes providing separate changing, showering and toilet areas for both adults and children. To find out more take a look at our article detailing Sport England Regulations (to be created).
Q) How many benches need to be provided in a changing room?
A) It is recommended to allow a width of 500mm per person for seating. For aisles between benches, a width of 1.5m is recommended as a good walkway width and not below 800mm. Bench depth should be at least 350mm, with a recommended depth of 400mm to 450mm for taller users.
